I’m Chaos Girl. Chaos by name, chaos by superpower. If we could choose our own superpowers, mine would be way cooler, or at least more practical, like the ability to mash potatoes with my mind, or even fold laundry by the narrowing of my eyes.
A lot of the time on the net I come across the buffed and polished versions of people’s lives – but I find it difficult to believe most people’s Real Lives are buffed and polished; mine’s not even vacuumed half the time. Dust bunnies are multiplying with gay abandon in the corners of my mind.
I call myself eccentric, which is just a nice way of saying my hold on an approximation of normality is tenuous.
Axolotls&Oxymorons is my less coherent creative HQ. It’s my life-laundry, where I “scrub the dust of daily life from my soul” (ta Picasso).
I agree. I love a beautiful mess.

Nice to meet you, Ms. Chaos! 🙂 I agree – the dust bunnies can continue
to gather themselves together in a ball that’s easily picked up, once over-sized.

Hey, Chaos Girl. Your mess is amazing. It is what keeps things real. As well as your vulnerability. Go for it.

I’ve enjoyed reading what you have to say; a times, you’ve inspired me to complete a post, write something I wouldn’t otherwise write, or just see things in a different way. Therefore, I’d like to nominate you for the Most Influential Blogger Award. You can read more about it here. I understand if you choose not to accept (or if you’ve already received the award), but I wanted you to know that your writing influences me. Thanks for everything to write!
